What is OpenID?
This site supports OpenID, a secure way to log in to many websites using a single username and password. OpenID can reduce the necessity of managing many usernames and passwords for many websites.

How can I set up my OpenID?
To use OpenID you must first establish an identity on a public or private OpenID server. If you do not have an OpenID and would like one, look into one of the free public providers.
If you already have an OpenID, Sign in to your account on the USENIX website, then select My account and then select the OpenID Identities tab and enter the URL in the space provided (e.g. myusername.openidprovider.com) and then press the Add an OpenID button.

The next time you log in, you will be able to use the Log in using OpenID link instead of a the standard username and password. You can have multiple OpenID servers if you like; just keep adding them to the OpenID Identities tab.
