Interview with the Ubuntu Community Team's Jorge Castro on the Juju Charm Championship

This year, a brand new conference is co-located with LISA. The inaugural Summit for Educators in System Administration (SESA) is a one-day conference bringing together educators from around the globe. Interview with LISA Trainer Shumon Huque: IPv6

IPv6 has been the next big thing for years. Like a virtual sword of Damocles, we've heard about the IP address exhaustion of v4, and USENIX has offered training on IPv6 at several LISA conferences, leading to many people implementing it at their own workplaces. 

There's been a lot of positive feedback, and so again, we're featuring an IPv6 tutorial from none other than Shumon Huque, the Lead Engineer for the Networking & Telecommunications department at the University of Pennsylvania, where he's also the principal IPv6 Architect. 

I got the chance to ask Shumon some questions about IPv6 and his tutorial this weekend.

Update 2 (wherein my daughter chimes in): As I said, my daughter is in India for a year, so she didn't see this article until Wednesday, September 11. I wasn't sure how she'd feel about me sharing her story and all the attention it received. Luckily, my daughter thanked me for writing about her experience. I asked her whether she had any corrections for the article. "Um, maybe tell them that I did actually talk to the teacher and I tried to tell the guys to quit being jerks," she said.
