Linux Essentials. Multiple-choice questions. Time required: 60 minutes. Tests abilities to use basic command line editor and to demonstrate an understanding of processes, programs, and components of the Linux Operating System. Certificate does not expire. | |
LPIC-1. LPI 101 and LPI 102 exams. Multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Time required: 90 minutes each. Tests abilities to perform maintenance tasks with the command line, install and configure a computer running Linux, and configure basic networking. Certification valid for five years. | |
LPIC-2. LPI 201 and LPI 202 exams. Each exam contains multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Time required: 90 minutes each. Tests ability to administer small- to medium–sized mixed networks. Certification valid for five years. | |
LPIC-3-300 Linux Enterprise Professional - Mixed Environment. Choose from one of three specialty exams: 300 (Mixed Environments), 303 (Security), or 304 (Virtualization & High Availability). Each exam contains multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Time required: 90 minutes each. Tests Linux Enterprise architecture specialties. Certification valid for five years. |
