Student Grants for Conference Attendance, Sponsored by the National Science Foundation and Google

A limited number of student grants are available to pay for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to enable full-time students to attend the conference.

USENIX Security '18 Diversity Grants, Sponsored by Dropbox and Google

As part of our ongoing commitment to encourage diversity in advanced computing, we are pleased to offer the USENIX Security '18 Diversity Grants to support computer scientists interested in attending the conference. All computer scientists from academia or industry who identify as female or are members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Eligibility:

  • Identify as a female or a member of an underrepresented group working in or studying computer science or a related field
  • Attend at least two full days of the main conference technical sessions
  • Agree to being contacted by sponsors about future events and opportunities
