Presentation of the USENIX Lifetime Achievement Award ("The Flame")

The USENIX Lifetime Achievement Awards ("The Flame") recognizes and celebrates singular contributions to the USENIX community of both intellectual achievement and service that are not recognized in any other forum. The presentation of the 2026 Flame Award will take place during the Opening Remarks and Best Paper Awards.

OSDI '26 Student Mentoring
Monday, 7:00 pm–8:00 pm
The OSDI '26 mentorship program is designed to give student attendees a chance to get to know more people at the symposium, get career advice from a senior member of the community, and obtain feedback on their research.
Mentorship will have two components. First, students and mentors will be paired for a one-on-one conversation, scheduled for their mutual convenience. Second, small group discussions will take place between students and mentors at the symposium venue during the mentorship session on Monday evening.
If you are interested in participating in this activity, either as a mentor or mentee, see the OSDI '26 Mentorship page for details. The deadline to sign up is June 26, 2026 for mentees and July 1 for mentors..

Registered attendees may schedule Birds-of-a-Feather sessions (BoFs) and reserve meeting rooms for them via the BoFs schedule grid posted outside the badge pickup area. Each room is available in one-hour increments.
