Cvent Virtual Attendee Hub (VAH)

The Cvent Virtual Attendee Hub can include your company logo, blurb, video links, and documents:

  • Documents: Files must be less than 20MB and in one of these formats: doc, docx, gif, jpg, jpeg, pdf, png, ppt, pptx, txt, xls, xlsx
  • Website links: Provide the URL, and the text to display
  • Video link: Supported file types: Supported file types include mov and mp4. You can upload up to 25 files, 5GB each.
  • Banner: Recommended image size is 1872x320 pixels with an aspect ratio of 936x160 pixels
  • Contact information: Email addresses, social media handles, website URLs

USENIX Slack Workspace

Slack will be the preferred meeting place for attendees and where conversations and interactions will primarily take place. Your sponsorship includes the option for a dedicated Slack channel in the USENIX Security Slack workspace to allow direct engagement with attendees. We encourage you to use this opportunity to:

  • Post links to job opportunities
  • Pin a schedule of when your representatives will be available to connect in the channel or pin their contact information to your channel
  • Offer product information, discounts, or raffle items

Important Dates and Deadlines

Monday, August 2

  • Notify sponsorship@usenix.org of intent to use sponsored Slack channel/add content
  • Provide the name and email for your VAH booth admin, or confirm you will not have one (USENIX will set up your booth)

Friday, August 6

  • Have all content uploaded to the VAH, or submit materials to USENIX Sponsorship
  • Join your sponsored Slack channel and upload content
  • Make sure your colleagues are registered and have received the invite to the Cvent VAH

Monday, August 9

  • Last minute check of VAH and Slack content, and making sure your team is signed up

Wednesday, August 11

  • Conference begins
    (Please note that the SOUPS conference will occur prior to USENIX Security from August 8–10.)

Exhibitor-only Registration

If you have colleagues who plan to staff your sponsored Slack channel but are not otherwise attending the conference, please email us their name, affiliation, and email address so we can invite them to the Slack workspace.

Exhibitor-only registrations are separate entities from conference passes or any sponsor passes that may be part of your sponsorship. If you are registered for the conference as an attendee, please use the attendee Slack login to access the sponsor Slack channels.
