Full-time students may attend the NSDI '18 technical sessions for only $495. This special fee is not transferable. Your current student ID must be validated before registering. Please sign in to your account or register for an account to upload your student ID for validation.

Student Grants for Conference Attendance, Sponsored by Google, Facebook, Microsoft, NetApp, and TwoSigma

A limited number of student grants are available to pay for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to enable full-time students to attend the conference. To apply for a grant, see the USENIX student grant Web page. Applications are due by Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Sorry, faxes will not be accepted for student grant applications.

NSDI '18 Diversity Grants, Sponsored by Google and VMware

As part of our ongoing commitment to encourage diversity in advanced computing, we are pleased to offer the NSDI '18 Diversity Grants to support computer scientists interested in attending the conference. All computer scientists from academia or industry who identify as female or are members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

Grant awards may be applied toward travel/accommodation costs.

Eligibility:

  • Identify as a female or a member of an underrepresented group working in or studying computer science or a related field
  • Attend at least two full days of the main conference technical sessions
  • Agree to being contacted by Sponsors about future events and opportunities
