Bob Hancock (W2) is a principal in Sirguey-Hancock, Ltd., a consulting company in New York City. He has spoken throughout the US and Europe on using parallelism and concurrency to build scalable and fast applications in Python. He is the manager of the Google Developer Group—New York and a co-organizer of NYC Python. At Pycon 2012 his talk, "Optimizing Performance with Parallelism and Concurrency," was packed and can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULdDuwf48kM.
