Experimental Evaluation

In this section, we describe our experimental evaluation of the various design alternatives proposed in Section 3. These include the performance of passive versus active monitoring schemes, sensitivity to various measurement sampling intervals, and the overhead of managing performance information for a large set of target destinations. We focus on understanding the benefits each scheme offers, including the set of parameters that result in the maximum advantage.
