SREcon16 Europe Grants for Women

Please complete this form to apply for a SREcon16 Europe Grant for Women.* Local awardees (those who reside within 50 miles of SREcon16 Europe) will receive a US$500 grant, and non-local awardees (those who reside more than 50 miles from SREcon16 Europe) will receive a US$1,000 grant. Awardees can use their grant checks toward registration and/or travel expenses as they see fit.

Instructions for Applicants: Complete the online grant application form below. Your Supporting Statement is the most important part of your application: it should outline your current research, studies, or employment related to the conference topics; tell us why attending the event will be beneficial to you; and any other relevant information such as your financial need, or whether you are presenting at the conference.

Late applications and materials will not be considered. Applicants who receive a grant and reside in the United States will need to submit their Social Security number (SSN) to USENIX prior to receiving their grant. USENIX issues form 1099-MISC for tax reporting purposes to residents of the US when applicable.

Please note the hotel reservation discount deadline is June 20. If you plan to stay in the conference hotel, be sure to make your reservation now; you can always cancel your hotel reservation later.
