Student Grants for Conference Attendance, Sponsored by Google, Microsoft, Oracle, SNIA, and VMware
A limited number of student grants are available to pay for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to enable full-time students to attend the conference. To apply for a grant, see the USENIX student grant page. Applications are due by Friday, January 12, 2018, 11:59 pm PST.
FAST '18 Diversity Grants, Sponsored by Google and VMware
As part of our ongoing commitment to encourage diversity in advanced computing, we are pleased to offer the FAST '18 Diversity Grants to support computer scientists interested in attending the conference. All computer scientists from academia or industry who identify as female or are members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by Friday, January 12, 2018, 11:59 pm PST.
Grant awards may be applied toward travel/accommodation costs.
Eligibility:
- Identify as a female or a member of an underrepresented group working in or studying computer science or a related field
- Attend at least two full days of the main conference technical sessions
- Agree to being contacted by Sponsors about future events and opportunities
