Student Mentoring

USENIX Security is hosting a mentoring event for students in computer security and privacy. Attendees who are registered as students for USENIX Security, VehicleSec, and WOOT are all invited to take part. The event will be structured as speed mentoring, where participants meet with pre-assigned mentors in 15–20 minute blocks.

Open Forum with the Program Co-Chairs

The Open Forum with the Program Co-Chairs is an interactive session that brings together past, present, and future PC co-chairs for an open conversation with the community. Born from a desire to share insights into the peer review and conference organization process, the forum has evolved into a space for transparent discussion, community feedback, and collaborative exchange.
The open forum begins with an in-depth overview of the USENIX Security ’25 peer review process and presents the results of the reviewer survey. It then transitions into a free-flowing discussion between the PC co-chairs and the community.
