USENIX Security '25 is hosting a mentorship event for students in computer security and privacy. The USENIX Security '25 mentorship activity is designed to give student attendees a chance to get to know more people at the conference, get career advice from a senior member of the community, and obtain feedback on their research.
Mentorship will take place at USENIX Security '25 on Tuesday, August 12, from 6:00–7:00 pm. The event will be structured as speed mentoring, where participants meet with pre-assigned mentors in 15–20 minute blocks. This activity is scheduled for the evening before USENIX Security '25 officially begins. Please arrange your travel to ensure you arrive at the conference venue in time to attend in person.
Students attending VehicleSec '25 and WOOT '25 are also eligible to attend.
To participate, you must be confirmed in advance. All participants must sign up to express interest in the mentorship activity no later than Monday, July 21, 2025. Space may be limited; we will send email notifications about confirmations.
