Nominating Committee Report

Every two years, according to our Bylaws, the USENIX Association holds elections for all eight members of its Board of Directors. The board consists of four officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, and four at-large members. Also, according to our Bylaws, the board appoints a nominating committee whose job it is to ensure that we have a strong slate of candidates to run for election. In addition to the nominating committee, Association members may nominate additional candidates to run for any position as described below.

Nominations from the membership remain open until noon PST on January 2, 2020. To nominate an individual, send a written statement of nomination signed by at least 2% of current voting Association members to the Executive Director at the Association offices. Also provide a plain-text Candidate’s Statement (250 words or less) and send both the statement and a photograph (minimum size 1800 pixels by 1200 pixels) to production@usenix.org, to be included in the ballots. Questions? Contact execdir@usenix.org.
