Access to our UNIX servers is provided by Exceed [Exceed],
an X Windows package for NT.
This essentially turns the PC into a fully functioning X Terminal.
In fact, we have reduced the number of X Terminals we purchase as a PC
can cost about the same, yet can run PC applications locally.
In particular, Netscape runs much faster on a PC compared to running
it on a UNIX server and
displaying it elsewhere via X Windows (whether the final display is
on a PC or X Terminal.)
