IMC 2005 Call for Papers

Detailed Paper Submission Instructions

Thanks for your interest in IMC 2005. To submit a paper, you will need to complete the following 3 simple steps. Please follow the instructions carefully to avoid any problems with the handling of your paper.

On this page we give an overview of the steps and details of paper preparation. Details on how to actually go about submission are given on the paper submission Web site, which you should turn to after reading this page. Please note that IMC is not double blind. Author names will be available to reviewers, and anonymization should not be performed.

Step 1: Paper/Abstract Registration
Register your paper and submit a 250-word abstract via the IMC 2005 Paper Submission Web Site. You must do this by May 6, 2005, 9:00 p.m. PDT (hard deadline).

Step 2: Satisfying the Paper Requirements
Please make sure that your paper satisfies ALL of the following requirements before being submitted:

  • The paper must be registered (see Step 1 above).
  • The paper must be original material that has not been previously published nor is currently under review by another conference or journal.
  • The paper must have an abstract of under 250 words.
  • The paper must conform to the page limits given in the Call for Papers: up to 14 two-column pages for full papers and up to 6 two-column pages for short papers.
  • The paper must be formatted as follows:
    • Two-column, 10 point Times or Times Roman font on 12-point (single-spaced, exact) leading used for the main text body.
    • Margins and layout according to these templates:
    • Please number the pages.
    • Along with the names of the authors, the front page should indicate both of the following:
      • The paper ID number, which is the login password assigned during the paper registration process (see step 1 above).
      • The total number of pages in the submission.
    • Please make sure that the output has been formatted for printing on letter size paper. If generating a Postscript file using "dvips", use the option "-t letter".
  • The paper must be submitted in Postscript or PDF format. We cannot accept any other format, and we must be able to print the document just as we receive it.

Step 3: Paper Submission
Submit your paper (in Postscript or PDF format, as described above) via the IMC 2005 Paper Submission Web Site. You must do this by May 13, 2005, 9:00 p.m. PDT (hard deadline).

The paper must be submitted electronically, and the process must be completed by the May 13, 2005, 9:00 p.m. PDT, deadline. This is a hard deadline.
