This workshop addressed issues in the design and use of moderate-to-large scale network testbeds to conduct experiments on security topics such as worm propagation, infrastructure defense (e.g., defending the DNS and BGP routing), and denial of service defense. Such experiments are challenging because of complexity, scale, and possible risk.
DETER 2007 was co-located with the 16th USENIX Security Symposium (USENIX Security '07), August 610, 2007.
