Enigma 2017 Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions (BoFs)

Birds-of-a-Feather sessions (BoFs) are informal gatherings of peers interested in discussing a particular topic and are a great way to maximize the value of your time at a conference. You can always sign up to lead a BoF on site if you're inspired by something you heard in one of the sessions or in the hallway track and want to talk further.

Already have a conversation in mind? Schedule a BoF in advance by contacting bofs@usenix.org with "Enigma 2017 BoF" in the subject line and including the following information in the body of the email:

  1. BoF title
  2. Organizer name and affiliation
  3. Date and time preference

Join EFF's Eva Galperin (@evacide) and Cooper Quintin (@cooperq) and Morgan Marquis-Boire (@headhntr) of The Intercept for an evening discussion on protecting high risk targets and vulnerable populations from digital attacks. During this Birds of a Feather session we will discuss the tactics used by governments to suppress dissent as well as what we as security professionals can do to expose and stop these practices.
