Abstract:
The Advanced Computing Laboratory at Los Alamos is a facility which provides computing resources to scientists ranging from supercomputers to desktop machines. Traditionally this has been done in a Unix environment, however we are considering supporting WinNT, initially for those who are interested, and quite possibly on a larger scale in the future. I am interested in this Usenix conference to hear from other researchers and the lectures of what the advantages/disadvantages might be in doing such. Looking forward to seeing you in August.
