We are interested in high-performance messaging layers on clusters of NT Workstations. Our work uses a Myrinet interconnect and will also be developed on Fast Ethernet, Server Net and other networking hardware. Issues to be explored include quality of Service in networking layers as well as a low-latency, high-bandwidth implementation of WinSock2.
