Social Activities

Welcome Get-Together

Whether this is your first time at Annual Tech or your tenth, please stop by the Welcome Get-Together. Take advantage of this added opportunity to meet your peers and learn about the conference, while enjoying refreshments and a light snack.

Board Game Night
Monday, June 23, 2008, 8:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Join us on Monday night for some good old-fashioned board games! Take a step back into the past and test your knowledge playing the Totally 80s edition of Trivial Pursuit. Challenge your fellow attendees to a game of Scrabble or Pictionary. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own games, too!

Poster Session & Happy Hour
Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.

The poster session, held in conjunction with a happy hour, will allow researchers to present recent and ongoing projects. The poster session is an excellent forum to discuss new ideas and get useful feedback from the community. The poster submissions should include a brief description of the research idea(s); the submission must not exceed 2 pages. Accepted posters will be put on the conference Web site; however, they will not be printed in the conference Proceedings.
